Instructional Program Schedule ~ Summer 2005

Friday, August 12th ~ Mosby Center, URI Bay Campus, Narragansett, RI.
6:30 - 9:00p.m. Introductions, land lesson and pizza for all (dress casual and comfy)
Saturday, August 13th ~ Scarborough Beach, Narragansett, RI
9:00 - 9:30 a.m.	Sign-in, socialize and settle in. Look for the white Program Tent with Chicks on Sticks and RI Surfrider banners! Beach parking lot opens at 8:30AM.
9:30 a.m.	PROMPT START! Review from Friday night and additional beach instruction
11:15 a.m.	break - munchies
11:45 a.m.	water time: board handling skills, white water skills, paddling for waves, belly riding
1:00 p.m.	out of the water, dry off & warm up, more munchies
1:30 p.m.	beach clean up / board loading

Sunday, August 14th ~ Scarborough Beach, Narragansett, RI
9:00 - 9:30 a.m.	Social time
9:30 a.m.	PROMPT START! Review from Friday & Saturday; addl.beach instruction
11:15 a.m.	break - munchies
11:45 a.m.	water time: review board handling skills, paddle for waves, pop -ups, riding waves
1:00 p.m.	beach clean up / board loading
1:30 p.m.	out of the water, warm up, more munchies, closing ceremonies, bye byes!
